We keep licensing simple and clear.

All Studio Ochi assets are royalty-free. You pay once and use the files according to your license — no recurring fees, no royalties.

Most customers only need the Commercial License.

1. Commercial License (Default)

This license covers most professional use cases.

You can:

• Use assets in commercial and personal projects
• Use assets in client work
• Use assets in unlimited projects
• Create renders, animations, visualizations, games, or media
• Modify the files freely
• Use assets in marketing and advertising
• Deliver final work to clients

You cannot:

• Resell, share, or redistribute the original files
• Sell the asset as a standalone product
• Include the files in competing asset libraries or marketplaces

Best for: architects, designers, freelancers, visualization studios, game developers.

2. Extended Distribution License

Required when the asset itself becomes part of a product that is distributed to others.

Includes everything in Commercial License plus:

• Distribution inside templates, apps, or software
• Products where users can extract or access the asset
• Large-scale commercial distribution
• SaaS platforms or interactive tools
• Print-on-demand products

Best for: software products, templates, mass distribution, resell-based products.

3. Studio / Enterprise License

For teams, large studios, or companies requiring broader usage rights and ongoing support.

Includes everything in Extended License plus:

• Use by multiple team members within one organization
• Priority support
• Access to updates and future improvements
• Custom requests consideration
• Enterprise-level usage

When updates are included with a product:

• You receive improvements and additions for that product
• Updates are delivered through your account download
• No additional fees unless otherwise stated

Some products may include priority support or future additions as part of promotional offers.

🚫 Resale or Redistribution: Assets cannot be resold as-is or with minor modifications.
🚫 Use in Automated Generators: Cannot be used in AI/ML training datasets, NFT generators, or AI-powered asset generators.
🚫 Trademarks & Logos: Cannot be used in branding, logos, or service marks.
🚫 Stock Pack Redistribution: Cannot be packaged and resold in another marketplace.

What Counts as Redistribution?

Redistribution means sharing or selling the original files in a way that others can reuse them.

Examples of redistribution:

• selling the asset file
• sharing files publicly
• including files in asset packs
• reselling modified versions of the asset

Final rendered images, videos, or client work are not redistribution.

• Products purchased through third-party marketplaces (CGTrader, TurboSquid, etc.) follow the license terms of those platforms.
• Purchases made directly from studioochi.com follow Studio Ochi licensing and are the most complete version.

Print on Demand

• Our store integrates with Printful, allowing users to sell printed merchandise with our assets.
• This use case should be explicitly licensed via an Extended or Multi-Use License.
• Example: A user who wants to print our 3D designs on t-shirts or posters must obtain a proper license.

Other Use Cases

• Additional permissions or restrictions may apply for specific industries or applications.

• For the 2x or 3x times to purchase a licence extended or studio, add the product 2 or 4 times depending on the license you require. (2 times for Extended Distribution License, 3 times for Studio / Enterprise License)
